that's such a great way to put it. It's what makes me feel so insane, people trying to say they know what'll happen when this is a place we've all never been before. Like yeah I don't know how bad it's gonna get, but neither do you!! (you being the hypothetical poster)

I don't think it's malicious at all, I think it just temporarily alleviates the sense of helplessness for some folks
