I have more thoughts on how the magic scene has changed locally! 1. Everyone I played was nice! 2. There were a lot more woman. Like 30 to 40%. It used to be like 10% or less. Like, all of that is great.
Correction. 13 years.
First in 10 years?
Played my first pre release at a local game store. It was a triumphant return. Won 3 lost 1. All four of our little pod passed the first round. I also LOVE the changes to prize support. No more big winners. Everyone gets a pack per win. So between zero to four packs. Lorehold was fun.
I'm fine checking the news now
Today has been exciting enough. Had to evacuate a record store due to an altercation. Still waiting to see if it makes the local news.
Wherein I ask people very nicely to please follow the BackerKit campaign for Project Tasman so it has enough followers to please them before go live in August.
Please follow the link.

Hey, I got this same email. Considering that I gotten three total sales in five months.... Yeah. Pretty obvious choice. I went wide too soon I guess.
STOP VIBECODING YOUR SITE AND START HIRING TRANS WOMEN IN IT TO WEAR PROGRAMMING SOCKS AND WRITE THE CODE FOR YOU
I've already taken measures to ditch them after this move. So much bullshit.
It is difficult to spite write while the wife is already in bed. Keyboard too loud.
Delisted, delayed, and told them to terminate my account.
I don't want to just publish on the awful mega-corp!
Same.
I am unspeakably mad about coming to the same conclusion.
And deleting my account.
Digital art of a buff woman with strawberry blonde hair in a braid leaning her arms against a gigantic bronze axe made of countless interwoven metal vines. Behind her, a tree burns from the inside out. Text on the image reads "Slayer of Yggdrasil"
Two figures wearing suits look up at the camera. The person on the left has on a messy brown suit and tie, his short hair is also a mess. This is Detective Eugene Windgate. The person next to him wears a blue-sh black suit and tie. Their hair is a lighter brownish-blonde and their skin is more pale. A mass of things, mechanical and biological grow from their left arm, including but not limited to: an alligator head, dragon wing, motorcycle engine block, ceiling support beams, giant coconut crab legs and body, kitchen sink, brick wall, multiple chainsaws, bird wing, wolf head, jet engine, another human arm and torso, and a cube that's wearing the same suit and tie as the rest of that figure. A human ear and hair are visible on the meatcube. This is Detective Page Simmons. Text on the image reads "Book of CoL: The Ember Child." A signature at the bottom reads "Sarah 'Neila' Elkins 2022"
Digital illustration of a pile of rubble that was once the nightclub called "Stick Shifter's." Debris rains from the sky, including a bar tap and stool, as a broad shouldered buff figure in a dark suit and tie steps forward. This figure is Detective Page Simmons. Their hair is shaved on the sides with the longer portion whipping in the wind. Their left hand looks normal but their right is partially forming as if it's made from liquid. Their right leg and boot are planted on a large piece of rubble but their left leg is a warped set of tendrils and metal and eyes that is emerging from the rubble. A signature on the image reads "Sarah 'Neila' Elkins 2023"
Digital illustration of a messy bedroom decorated with anime wall scrolls, a full sized body pillow of a dragon person, unmade bed, glowing neon skull shaped lamp, dirty underwear and socks on the floor, and a large lawn skull made of cement. In the foreground is Thunderskull, a tall skeleton man with horns, wearing a Santa hat. Flames flit out of his empty eye sockets as he takes a photo of himself in a mirror. He's also wearing a large baggy black hoodie and has his right arm, which is still fleshy, in a pink cast held to his chest with a fabric strap. Text on the image reads "Season's Greetings!" and a signature reads "Sarah 'Neila' Elkins 2023"

I should be creating, not spending my precious after day job hours having to have to teach the find out part to these greedy companies that want to find the fuck out.
I feel like it takes all types. Polite, and inflamatory.
Couldn't be their money grubbing move that has us all ready to abandon ship. Total mystery.
*I have dove
I have one paragraph into Wikipedia. I need know nothing more.
Far better.
Hey @draft2digital.bsky.social. Care to comment on this publicly? This $12/year fee would have wiped out the earnings I had from D2D and Smashwords combined every year since 2016 except one.
I only recently joined, and 6 months or so in, I'm not going to hit anywhere near the fee waving number. Planning to unpublish at this point through. Back to just Amazon I guess. Pretty fucked up how the evil mega corp has a less shitty deal.
I. Calling bullshit on their "activation fees" logic.its pretty damn easy to spot which accounts are putting out low content and slop by number of titles published...
Well... I think I'm unpublishing then...
So eco-friendly.
It *is* twice the man. Irrefutablely.
