Using spare balls as trophies is a brilliant idea!

The cleanest i've seen of these, what was your technique?

Is this in anyway related to the Warhammer game; Blood Bowl, or it's offshoot variant Blitz Bowl?

By optimizing they mean lowering your expectations.

Aw, he can eat the ball as a little treat

Which could be fine for leaches, but not having thralls on their team maybe you'd want to interpret the rule differently.

It's a thematic nerf essentially.

In the case of bloodlust getting a 1 means you have to be stood next to a thrall lineman on your own team at the end of your move and try to hurt it, or your vampire gets distracted and end your turn

So, bloodlust is a negative skill/trait or negatrait. Negatraits are given to very good players to balance them out a bit.

Usually it's something like
"roll a dice before trying to do something and if you get a 1 something bad happens before or instead of what you wanted to happen"

There's a lot that could work, e.g. instead of standfirm, shadowing (people try to dodge away and you just follow them, like a leach sticks to things)

Hypnotic gaze, which feels appropriate as it doesn't kill, just leaves an opponent distracted

"Block" makes you immune to "both down"

It's very much an offesive skill as well as defensive though

"Iron hard skin" makes you immune to armour modifiers

Thick skull helps you survive armour breaks better

Regeneration helps you recover from serious injury and death

*slow, Weak, but tricky to get rid of.

Sidestep would be a reasonable replacement for stand firm (feels wide) if 4 standfirm players feels a bit much.

But as they are st2 with no dodge they would probably not be to bad to deal with

What skills/stats would you give a leech?
Based purely on feels
Maybe:
0-4
4 2 5+ 6+ 9+
Hypnotic gaze
monsterous mouth
Stand firm

Mutation access because prehensile tail or tentacles would useful thematic upgrades

Slow

It's a shame there are no minis i. Those photos, I bet the 4 shadows cat by the lights look dope as hell

Awesome :) I am always interested in seeing homemade pitches if you feel like posting them

Not sure about the grid spacing, possibly metal studs

2 months ago 1 0 1 0

If I ever get round to it I was planning on using a now defunct picture frame that's big enough for a sevens pitch as the base so it could be a wall hanging (unfortunately about an inch too short for a full size one) and then just slap a bunch of coffee, tea flowers and static grass on top.

Really interesting inducements. A 1/8 chance of no hands is a pretty big disincentive to give a souvenir to a play maker. I guess they are aimed at linemen?

Having a go at improving my greenstuff skills, and realising that human heads are considerably smaller than I had at first realised (blue head for scale)

BS is quite good at letting people curate their feed by keywords, so it might not matter to others how you do things.

The bluish recesses look great

Granted I only really have experience running Black Orc, and online at that, but having found the rules pack, I feel like running them with Varag, and sadly dropping the troll, 2 Block, 1 tackle, 1 MB, 2 Guard, 1 Sneak and either kick or OTB could be fun

Can you put more than one skill on a player?

I love the two tone here, makes the outer bark look more armour like
