My two triptych pen drawings, the top one shown here is called Near Haugh Lane, a view of the back of a big old retail unit in Northumberland, England, split into three A6 panels as a nod to those old devotional triptychs in early christian art. There's wheelie bins (or dumpsters, if you like), the loading bay for the unit, overgrown trees and shrubs, and a sad looking car park for the garage in the background. The one below it, also of some town architecture in the north of England. On the left panel of this one, the boarded up and disused 1930s bus station. In the middle, the Edwardian gates to Sele Park, a formerly grand entrance that everyone walks past these days. On the right, the eastern end of an old ropery building constructed in about 1800, also boarded up, rotting and largely ignored. These two original pictures are for sale in my shop at www.schmattt.com
