Plus, like, one of the first things Trump did was punish the universities for the protests' existence. Not hard to imagine he might do the same again for protests against a war he started on a whim.
I have seen one good example of this plate
Do people think the US role in Ukraine is Iraq c.2006 or something?
A two panel comic, in the first panel, a white goose with eyes narrowed suspiciously asks, "Why would Wikipedia classify you a "generally unreliable"? In the second panel, a person runs away as the goose chases, asking the same question but in all caps and with an interrobang following it.
It's also very funny in the story for the Post to discover that a single editor exercises almost complete control over a given article...something people have been complaining about for literally years now
That’s because Wikipedia classifies The Post as “generally unreliable” — effectively sidelining it as a source.
Shocked, shocked to hear that Wikipedia has standards.

From @the-avocado.bsky.social, I'm dubbing this the DGAFox.
Per Bob DaSilva's FB, an explosion at Aspen Aerogels in EP
Someone here says a cop told them it was in East Providence, someone else has it from the scanner:
www.reddit.com/r/providence...
Nothing here on the West End, but I see a skeet that it might've been at a chemical plant in E. Prov?
Looks like Lamberti has a facility there: www.lamberti.com/insights/lis...
Multiple reports of a large explosion, possibly at a chemical plant on Dexter Road, in East Providence, RI.
Anybody got any more?

- 'America has the military power to do whatever it wants anywhere in the world'
- immediately loses war to Iran.
Recklessly producing and then accepting a situation where a foreign power can restrict freedom of navigation is not just a strategic defeat, it is a reversal of the most fundamental foreign policy and national security priority of the United States since the founding of the republic.
In other words, you held out for less money
Every time Trump "makes a deal"

Happy Leland Melvin day to all who celebrate. đź’š
Agree. Also—this is how & why Juan Linz Was Right™ that presidential regimes invariably commit suicide. When an opposition controls the legislature with a solid mandate to fight a lawless executive & uses all available means to do so, the executive tends to fight back extraconstitutionally—via coup.
NEW STATEMENT 🚨 CIP President & CEO @nancyokail.bsky.social issued the following in response to President Trump’s escalating threats against the Iranian people:
again very funny to think that a critical pro trump message in 2024 was that he wouldn’t start world war iii
Donald Trump is completely unhinged. His statement threatening to eradicate an entire civilization shocks the conscience and requires a decisive congressional response. The House must come back into session immediately and vote to end this reckless war of choice in the Middle East before Donald Trump plunges our country into World War III. For years, Republicans have enabled and excused Donald Trump’s deeply dangerous and extreme behavior. Enough is enough. Our brave men and women in uniform have been put into harm’s way in the Middle East. Over a dozen have already been killed and hundreds injured. Gas prices are skyrocketing, the cost of living in America is out of control and billions of taxpayer dollars are being wasted on a reckless war of choice. It’s time for House Republicans to put patriotic duty over party loyalty and join Democrats in stopping this madness.
After Trump wrote, in reference to Iran, “A whole civilization will die tonight,” the entirety of the House Democratic leadership issued this joint statement:
The Nobel Foundation should organize a football competition.
Mossad & the CIA don't understand Iran. Mojtaba doesn't have to govern. There's a Supreme Court, a president, a parliament, an IRGC commander, a conventional chief of staff, an assembly of experts. The clerical leader anyway navigated among them
I’d love to see a delegation from Congress head over to the White House asap to protest the president’s threat of war crimes. It would be great if it was bipartisan, and if it included leadership. But at this point it would be encouraging to see some high-profile pushback, even from backbenchers.
This is horrific and wrong.
Congress must reconvene to end the war immediately.
The President’s enablers must wake up to the fact that he is becoming increasingly erratic and dangerous, and our country needs new leadership.
Armageddon is terrible, but our only other option was diversity trainings at work.
