Don't buy any graphical assets from this user: niao-k.itch.io They stole my friends tileset (who does work for my game) and may have stolen from others as well. If you notice anything else stolen, tell the author immediately.

Some devs need to be more honest about their projects on posts. A bold post implying its revolutionary, when the github readme reveals that it's either early in development or far less exciting in reality. Projects take time. Just be upfront where it's at and the finish line.

Mildly intrigued about Pokepia. Won't be getting it, no Switch 2. Thoughts on it?

They never consider the consequences of it. Its always "we can, so we should" or "not my problem". I dont know how these people live with themselves, horrid morals.

I need to stop using X. The amount of blue checkmarks highly praise and push generative AI and harp that "It's just a tool" is driving me nuts.

I helped develop Banjo's Backpack, the Banjo-Kazooie level editor, and I'll be the first to admit that hacks can get laggy. With the incredible efforts of Wiseguy's PC port, that's no longer an issue! Pick it up and play some great ones, especially the ones by @kurkogames.bsky.social

All newly added AI functionality or training on user content should always be opt-in. The fact that opt-out is default across the board assumes everyone wants them. If a user wants AI features, let them turn it on themselves.

Thanks, but letting you know the gfx was done by Arex. I did everything in the video except the graphics.

I totally see the resemblance between Ninjawing's and Firebrand's designs now that some people pointed it out. That wasn't the intention, but if that helps get ya hooked I won't complain, lol.

Ninjawing's Game (Pre-Alpha small preview test). Inspired by WayForward's Shantae, Super Metroid, Castlevania: SOTN, Hollow Knight, etc... Built for Gameboy Color in a modified @GBStudioDev Engine. GFX by Arex. Thoughts so far? #indiegame #pixelart #gamedev #gameboy

No AI or "AI assisted" art or anything else will be used for my animation pilot. I don't care how much faster or cheaper it is, or if people believe itll be normalized. It will never capture the talent coming from real people. AI image generation software can eat shit.

Making a Gameboy Metroidvania game starring Ninjawing of the Powersaurians. Heavily modifying GB Studio's core engine. Pilot halted until I understand better of my money situation this year and see if I need to crowdfund. I'd be 100% transparent of where people's money is going. Stay tuned.

Hi everyone. I'll continue to post about my projects on both here and X, but check here more often. My home page on X is flooded with unrelated topics no matter how many times I click "not interested", and I'd rather have my home page full post posts of people and topics I actually follow.
