Mucosal immunity: The next frontier in pandemic preparedness – MUSICC Mucosal immunity could greatly reduce transmission of respiratory viruses. Why is this vital for future vaccines and pandemic preparedness?

Most vaccines protect us from severe disease but don’t fully stop respiratory viruses from spreading. Mucosal immunity could change that by impacting infection right at the nose and airways.

Our new article breaks down the science and showcases how MUSICC is pushing this frontier forward. 🧪
