Rubber Spandex pants with the bulge revealed under the loincloth. Heavy boots. Heavy armor, and the deer head forced on and keeping you from talking, with some nice patterns behind the eyes to keep you compliant.

It doesn’t read as creepy to me nearly as much as heartbreaking.

There’s something morbid and also very sad about it. Such potential, and yet it withers away because it likely wasn’t profitable to them.

There’s a ton of that in Egyptian mythology. The contending between Horus in Set is… full of that.
