On the workbench with my paint mat down. Doing the thing George Williamson does for handling object being painted - cotton wool tip glued to the underside.

Reverse side of the column in place in the station forecourt. Dates of the great war (Engraved on the real thing) painted with much difficulty with a toothpick. Same with the wreath around the edges.

Front side of the column with two plaques visible. On the reference column, the lower one was the original, with the town's Great War casualties on it, and the upper one being the cumulative losses in all wars since. Same line height and typeface.

ANZAC Memorial column complete. Keeping true to a reference point, the thing is finished in a polished white stone, plaques in black. And, though it's not visible from anything but the awkward-est angle, the reverse side is correctly dated and wreathed (a hand-paint job with a toothpick).

man, the answers to "what are you gonna do" seem real fucking obvious, and the Rep probably should know better in that case.

'A simple (perfect) life' - my spring landscape is finally finished! An apple orchard in bloom, old railway, sheep with their lambs and an allotment being prepared for growing :) Zoom in to see all the other tiny details too... I think this might be my favourite aerial embroidery I've ever done!

Lehigh Valley Transit had four Cincinnati Curved Side cars for their Easton Limited, modernized in a fancy way. I have two, for a short time, one will soon leave the property for his new owner. (This is HO scale)
