'We must become less reliant on American tools': Windows 11 is so bad the French government is switching to Linux — and Microsoft should be worried Is 2027 set to be the year of Linux? There are signs that this might actually be the case, this time.

This article is weird. France isn't switching to Linux because Windows is bad - it's switching because Microsoft is a US company, US companies fall under US law, and thus simply cannot be trusted with EU data. Windows can't "solve" this. There's no "fix" here.

Can confirm if you use Proton Experimental, Dino Crisis 1 works already and as Pierre-Loup says, all should work but one, nice.

Wish they would fix them for Linux/Steam Deck, currently they have the same problem as Dino Crisis and it's driving me crazy because while possible to manually fix, it's a bit pain in the butt.

@plagman.bsky.social by any chance does the team know what element behaves wrong with linux in this case?

They are currently a hot topic so the system determines if you could be interested based on general engagement on the platform and your consumed content, the end result is basically RE being selling fast enough to tell the system "hey, recommend this to users" for a short period of time.

New design is interesting although I'm curious to see how takeovers do look like in this new style.

As it was expected, this week the CCU peak was surpassed once again as we enter the spring holidays and eastern season in some places. Over +300k increase in just one week while In-game got close to it's max peak once again.

Platform growth continues in a steady way.

I still remember when my parents gifted me the PSP and the game Daxter. What an amazing surprise was that after finishing school one day just like that.

Good memories.
