Quick update!
I’m still in the discharge process; got guarantees that I wouldn’t somehow be forced to pay back any military scholarships or stipend per my commander. Just also got accepted to Uni of Galway (Ireland) this morning.
Been super busy with school so apologies for being offline.
Thank you so much!! I’m planning on paying everyone’s generosity forward once I have my feet firmly below me.

Are you located near Hamilton or Wellington? I've been accepted to Uni of Waikato and am in the final stages of review for Victoria University of Wellington.

My best friend's son was in ROTC with this amazing, brilliant & kind young person whose life was turned inside out when Trump decided to eliminate all Trans personnel from the military.

I've had a few months to really process it and I've been mentally preparing myself for this to be a reality ever since the election. I'd be lying if I said I was doing fantastic but I'm not letting this drag me down.
It's def a weird feeling to be fleeing the country I swore to defend with my life
