Last month, our research assistant and new lab manager Ekin Su Gümüş gave an oral presentation at the 12th ICARA.
Ekin and her teammates collected data with the supervision of Prof. Kursat Cagiltay and Dr. Junko Kanero. The presentation was awarded with the Best Presentation Certificate!

🎓 Our Master’s student Pelin Öztürk will be joining the University of Manchester for her PhD, fully funded by the prestigious Presidential Doctoral Award🏅
She will be working with Prof. Ben Ambridge and Dr. Birsu Kandemirci on research in child language acquisition.🌟📚
Dr. Junko Kanero presented "Human-Robot Friendship (HRF) Procedure with Children" at ACM CHI 2025 in Yokohama.
Based on a TÜBİTAK project with Dr. Çiğdem Bağcı, co-authored by grad students Ayşe, Selen & İrem 🌸, the poster was a hit! 😍
