You see, what is really going on is that the baby boomer generation is starting to age out of existence and big business is TERRIFIED of the fact that everyone hated what they've done so much that we are gonna end that shit as soon as they are gone.

I would further like to remind everybody that those saying this are the same ppl who were the one of the largest generations and birthed one of the smallest generations.
If a panda can refuse to screw to save their species, what makes you think people have LESS control over their sex drive?
And I ask you, exactly what were you asking the panda to save about itself?
Not having children has become a matter of quality of life.
If you want people to have more kids, improve their quality of life. Even animals know not to procreate when humans are tearing up the countryside.
"Not having children is selfish."
No. Expecting ppl to keep popping out minimum wage workers while you turn the world into a hostile cesspool is selfish.
A set of the best: cookware, flatware, utility clothing, boots, bedding, a futon, a hot plate, a battery, a replenishing supply of basic body care items, basic nutrient paste, sanitary napkins, and a room with a toilet.
What if everyone was guaranteed at birth 1 of everything a human needs to survive properly with a lifetime guarantee. You can buy what you want, but are guaranteed an excellent example of what you need, just in case.
No one is sane, we're all just differently crazy.
Like cats.
Everything has become so damn user friendly I can't figure out how to use it anymore.
Earth: Lived in by many, owned by the few.
I have learned I am unacceptable.
The Downward Spiral

Still relevant today, fucking prophetic back then.
If you don't hate yourself enough, try engaging with people online.
Reality is hostile to EVERYONE.
We built a society to counteract that.
Society is the act of trying to consciously make reality more fair for everyone. Our ability to do that is the metric by which we should measure our success as a species.
Choose compassion.
Don't let people with a diagnosis shame you away from that leg of your journey.
Whether it's autism or not, you have the right to wonder, and to be tested.
It's about how the world makes you feel, not about how you act or how it feels about you.
Don't let them refuse to test you for autism because you "don't act autistic," it means the system in your area is full of people who aren't keeping up with breaking information in the industry they work for.
The idea that autistic people can't make eye contact or aren't personable or don't talk, or any other ridiculous stereotypes is bullshit.
Everyone is an individual. You tell them what you can and can't do. Not the other way around.
Stop shaming people for wanting solutions to problems you don't have, assholes.
You like tools?
Someone in ancient times was definitely like, "Oh come on. Are you too weak to just do it with your paws?"
You like beds?
Someone in ancient times was looked at weird for being grossed out by sleeping with the little critters.
Someone definitely was like "Oh come on, it's not THAT bad."
You like shoes? Maybe someone in ancient times had sensitive paw pads.
The people who come up with solutions for most problems are the ones most bothered by those problems.
Every simple thing you enjoy today might have been invented by someone with sensory issues, is my point.
Everyone around them was like, "it's not THAT big a deal."
Fucking with animal skins for days until they manage to make an outfit that doesn't scratch and that's how clothing was invented.
I can go on.
I have heard ppl wondering what autists fixate on in ancient times and I immediately thought to myself,
"Studying fire and which plants make food taste like not-ass."
"Spending hours chipping away at a piece of flint with everyone else laughing until they use it to take down a mammoth."
In the spirit of dressing for the job you want instead of the one you have, or however that goes, I propose companies start paying you as if you are the employee they want. Then when they fire you for not being good enough, at least losing the job will actually seem like a punishment..
I would compare growing up to learning to surf. At first, you're just trying not to fall off the board, but eventually you're ready to catch that one big wave and hopefully ride it all the way to shore, but just being on the board won't promise the wave will come.
I just realized I can remember the name of every cat I've ever known, but the names of people seem weirdly deprioritized in my mind.
I once had a cat named Phoebe who appeared to have simply picked up the paint rag everyone else was using and was like "I'm gonna just go with this."
