Kinda feels like some people are hating to hate with the Super Mario Galaxy movie. The plot was easy to follow and overall the movie was a fun time.

No it's not the best movie ever or anything, but there are clear arcs/stories for many of the characters.

Yeah. I only ever watch my husband play FF7 remake and rebirth, though I occasionally do some side quests.

I don't think the RE remakes are quite as completely separate games. The RE1 remake on Gamecube was closest to just upping it graphically, but they still added stuff. 2s remake did more.

With the Capcom resident evil remakes, they have tended to change quite a bit past prettying them up.

I'd say what they do is more than a remaster, but less than the Final Fantasy 7 remake games.
