College football is starting to remind me of that friend who’d cut off a finger for $20 (Northern Illinois to Mtn West). That said, the atmosphere of the on campus playoff games is awesome. Wish my Boise State Broncos got one.

No matter where I’m working, or where you’re swimming, I’ll still be claiming you all as my swimmers.

I’m ready for my next challenge and I’m excited about the long term prospects in my next career. I’ve found myself misty eyed more than a few times this week. Thank you to all my swimmers and swim families for giving me the chance to have such a fun and memorable career.

End of my coaching era. After 20+ years of swim coaching, and 17 years of swim coaching being my full-time profession, this morning marks my last day on the pool deck. This week, I accepted an offer to make a transition into a new field beginning after the new year.

Really unfortunate for tv ratings that the first round of the college football playoff game has been scheduled opposite some serious pro competition this weekend… HVAC National Championships on now on CBS Sports Network. Pros showing serious speed with the crimping tool on the condenser installs!
