This is why I should stick to Tier lists. There are so many Doctors that I just can't choose between. So whenever any of my equal placed Doc's went head to head on the sorter, I just picked one at random, knowing they'd be bunched together in the final result #DoctorWho

It probably changed size when his clothes changed. The essence of Two's oncoming persona knew that it wasn't his style. ๐
Sam Rockwell giving big Columbo vibes (just needs a shabbier coat)
Yep. First name that came into my head too.
...Menzies and various other shops, often with me Nan who'd treat me to a comic, I must have never clocked a single issue before #100. ๐ฒ
First issue of DWM I ever bought. Honestly, to this day it's a source of bafflement to me that I wasn't even aware of the publication's existence until I saw that issue in a local newsagent. And by '85, I'd been a fan of the show for some years. Somehow, despite numerous visits to WH Smiths,...
ON THIS DAY... In 1985, Doctor Who Magazine #100 was first released by Marvel Comics.

...feel especially "new" to me, just by virtue of not watching DMP enough to have ever missed them in the first place.
Any find is wonderful, of course it is. But for me, the missing'iest of the missing episodes are stories like Marco Polo, Power of the Daleks, The Highlanders.
Just watched the two recovered #DoctorWho episodes on iPlayer. And they were OK. I probably don't hold the same reverence for them as some fans, as I've only ever watched/listened to Master Plan once in its entirety, and that was just a couple of years ago.
On that basis, these two eps didn't...
For me, there's not much between them. Caves is meh, all egelordy bleakness. Dilemma is frustratingly flawed, but still holds my attention a lot more.
Also, Peri is surprisingly better served in Dilemma, where she gets a few moments of agency. As opposed to Caves, where she's basically a prop. ๐
...aired and telling all my mates at school after episode one that I had sussed out the cliffhanger. Cos I was convinced the Tardis hadn't been destroyed, but the chameleon circuit had kicked back in and the Tardis actually was the Hat Stand.
So I was half right. ๐
It's a story that never really stays with me. I think I watched it as recently as a year or so ago, but I still couldn't tell you the specific plot beyond the Tractators doing something underground.
My only significant memory of Frontios is from 11 year old me, watching when it originally...
I am Rod Hull!!
Probably not. This comes up on the regular whenever people notice those expiry thingies on iplayer. But most shows normally just get reset to another year+ at a certain point.
If you see this, post a #StarTrek
...gimmick at the time (for fans of Ten). But with another three on the way, that's becoming a series; a series which positions Ten as the "main" Doctor, and all the others are just there to revel in his presence for the duration of one story.
And that's really not for me.
David is a great actor and seems like a lovely bloke. I'm just not a fan of Ten. At all. But I don't begrudge his coming back. He's enormously popular and David obviously enjoys playing him.
Having said that, I'm not thrilled about more "Out of Time". The original three were a fun...
Everyone thinking this was sad at the time, but it actually turned out to be a threat. ๐ #DoctorWho
Drag me to Hell and Alien: Covenant are up there, for having stupidly obvious twists that aren't twists cos they're so obvious
All timer though is Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. When the thing happened that happened, I was incandescent with rage and literally zoned out for the rest of the film
This costume is peak. It was peak then. It is peak now. It would not have been better all in black. It is absolutely not better in blue. #DoctorWho #SixthDoctor #AManOfRainbows
...worse.
I'm still hoping we'll get a crossover at some point. Seeing as they both have their own ongoing 12 episode series right now, releasing on alternate months, it would seem like a missed opportunity not to have 'em meet at least once.
Quote or reply to this with your ideal pick(s) for the 16th Doctor. #doctorwho
Bonnie Langford as Mel in the Doctor Who story Paradise Towers. Mel is standing in a time machine, capable of her taking her anywhere and anywhen in the universe. To sunny days on Margate beach in the 1950's to planets where the seas are pure crystal blue and taste of strawberries. But no, Mel would rather go to a chintzy looking 80's swimming pool that wouldn't be out of place in a three star travel tavern.
The Doctor; "So... all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will. Where do you want to start?" #DoctorWho
Five Fave Sevens? K, in broadcast order then;
Paradise Towers (Despite Briers, which is a rare thing to ever say)
Delta and the Bannermen
Remembrance of the Daleks (best classic ever)
Ghost Light (Nonsense, but fun nonsense)
Power of the Doctor
Honourable mention to the TVM #DoctorWho
...unusual reaction to have preferred it if she'd been given the chance to do just a little bit more.
Sure, my rational brain knows any appearance on national telly is gonna bring new eyes and potential opportunities to an indie wrestler. And Brittnie herself is clearly thrilled about it, which is ultimately the only thing that matters.
But as a fan of Brittnie, I don't think its an especially...
Happy/Sad meme relating to Brittnie Brooks getting to appear on AEW programming but in the jobbiest of jobber roles, that sadly might not draw the attention of some casual fans.
And again. ๐ #AEW #AEWCollision
My rational brain knows any opportunity to get on TV and appear in a major fed is a fantastic opportunity.
My "It's still real to me, damnit!" brain hates seeing immensely talented wrestlers portrayed as absolute jobbers who don't get any offense in at all. #AEW #Wrestlesky
