📈 New research published today by Creative PEC shows that the Creative Industries account for almost a tenth of UK firms classified as having ‘high-growth potential’, higher than both the Life Sciences (5.1%) and Advanced Manufacturing (2.4%).

Creative UK began with a bold idea and the vision of our founding Chief Executive, Caroline Norbury OBE. She and her team saw that they could build something altogether new for the sector.
Five years on and our much-loved Caroline is stepping down to make room for the next generation of leadership.
We’ve invested over £31 million into creative businesses since 2020!
It’s been an eventful five years to say the least. There have been 5,200 SMEs supported, programmes in eight regions, hundreds of events, hustings, A lister partnerships and so much more.
Starring Derby-raised Jack O'Connell, who has often spoken about how access to the arts has shaped his own journey, highlighting the importance of affordable, local opportunities that allow young people all across the UK to discover creative confidence.
Shot entirely in the UK, the film utilises many locations across the country, including Ennerdale Valley and Bowness Cottage in Cumbria, Lindisfarne (Holy Island) in Northumberland, and Wensleydale in North Yorkshire.
