In the meantime, I'm discovering Godot engine which will ultimately run the whole experience. The first milestone I'm looking towards is getting a ride control and physics simulation. The ride mesh has been imported to locate the ride spline.

Update on my Space Mountain - Back to the moon project :
The modeling of the building is going on with light traps entrances finished, concrete and steel elements of the station building taking shape. Everything is sorted by groups and IFC classification and naming of the members is ongoing.
Update on my imaginary 3D façade for the World Premiere building at Disneyland Paris to reflect the recently revealed awning. I vectorized the wallpaper and used the template as a basis for bas-reliefs on the columns of the building, featuring the Adventure World star icon ✨

No, It's been held back because plans for this area changed multiple times. Initially Ursula flat ride, then Tiana's restaurant, that ultimately got cancelled for East Pavillon. They then decided to add a flat ride back to the area (hence the Art Nouveau awning getting cancelled).

Instead of the "cultural Chernobyl" feared by some before the opening date, It turned out to be more of an economic boom for the area and for the european theme parks industry as a whole. With Universal joining in and EU competition getting stronger, what's next ?? 👀

Quick sketch exploration on how could a merchandise shop look like just behind Animation Celebration Building. The entrance facade faces the rosace, future center of the expanded park. The Pueblo Deco style blends in w/ adjacent store fake facade and matches the Tower of Terror area style.

Added some details on the facade : characters shadows (to be animated) in the glass wall, improved signage visibility, cornice detailing... Still work to do on the pilasters.

Here's a little 2h exploration on a potential design from an idea I had earlier this morning.
What I tried is cutting the gable to reduce the building overall scale and adding volumes via a new fake façade.

Too much issues with accuracy on the old one, which put together made it to difficult to work on some aspects.
So yeah, this is Space Mountain (to be BackToTheMoon), AS BUILT.

Et ça c’est sans entrer dans les considérations de différence de qualité suivant les équipes créatives au sein même de WDI. Mais ce qu’on peut quand même dire c’est que même ici ils n’ont pas directement prompté à une IA (ce qui se fait ailleurs 👀) et se sont faits avoir.
C’est tellement facile d’assumer que c’est WDI qui fait tout dans les parcs. Quand bien même ça serait le cas : ils ont acheté une illustration sur un site. Rien ne dit dans la boutique que c’est de l’IA. Après ils peuvent s’en rendre compte… ou pas.
