Want to get to know your fellow neighbors? Have issues in the ward you want to discuss? Want some updates on what we've been up to, what we're doing next, and how you can get involved?
Come hang out with us at Our Ward Night at Hexe Coffee on Monday, April 27 @ 6pm!
It was important to me to support candidates independent of corps like DraftKings, that fight for housing and families; principled progressives not relying on lies to win. Miguel Rivera, Liz Granato, and Nick Uniejewski were the clear candidates in their races by that criteria. Please vote for them!
Election day is tomorrow, March 17th for the Illinois democratic primary, and we're so proud to have supported strong progressive candidates in the 32nd Ward this campaign season.
We're not done yet- if you've not yet voted, check out our voter guide and make sure to do so- polls close at 7 pm!

Come canvass with us this weekend to GOTV! Saturday we'll be out with @nickforillinois.bsky.social and Sunday we'll be out for Miguel Alvelo-Rivera and Elizabeth Granato!
One week left until election day! Create your plan to vote for our progressive slate on or before Tuesday, March 17th!
There are three state level candidates sponsored by DraftKings - Jaime Andrade, Adam Braun, and Sara Feigenholtz - and all three have either no showed or won't agree to a debate.
A pattern emerges.
We continue to be proud to stand with Miguel Alvelo-Rivera against Jaime Andrade's DraftKings Super PAC backed campaign in HD40
This is basically straight up lying to the voters by Jaime Andrade’s campaign, which is smearing his opponent by false accusing them of supporting ICE. Good campaign truth squadding by @olivia0.bsky.social

ENDORSEMENT ALERT: We're excited to endorse Miguel Alvelo Rivera for State Rep. in the 40th District!
For the last five years, he has served as Executive Director of the Latino Union of Chicago, building worker power and fighting back for our communities.
https://www.miguelfor40.org/
Miguel's campaign put out a press release regarding this mailer that can be found here: www.instagram.com/p/DU4tIf0DVG...
Miguel is the executive director of an organization trusted with organizing and defending undocumented workers, and this sort of activity erodes trust in the sort of leaders and organizations our communities need to turn to for assistance.
This mailer sent out by Friends of Jaime Andrade accusing Miguel Alvelo-Rivera and his allies of being ICE supporters is not only a lie but also dangerous. The People's 32nd condemns this dirty tactic fully.
We just launched our campaign’s first ad.
It’s not that we need more Democrats in Springfield—we just need better ones.
Let’s build the future we deserve. Make a plan to vote on or before March 17.
Two developments, one community meeting!
On February 19, there will be an in-person meeting to discuss 60 new homes proposed for two sites adjacent to the 606. 🚲
If you live in or near the area, your attendance is highly encouraged! 🏘️

he sucks and makes every day worse for me and all of his constituents with his inaction on dangerous streets in the ward
I only moved to this was recently but how the fuck is he considered a "progressive" he hasn't been since I've been here!
Alderman Scott Waguespack Endorses Brendan Reilly for Cook County Board President Progressive Leader Cites Reilly's Commitment to Transparency & Reform CHICAGO, IL - Alderman Scott Waguespack, a progressive leader known for his record of fighting for government transparency and accountability, is endorsing Brendan Reilly for Cook County Board President in the upcoming Democratic Primary election. Reilly and Waguespack have served together on the Chicago City Council since they were both first elected in 2007, and they have collaborated on numerous pieces of legislation including major transparency initiatives, consumer protections, and most recently leading the fight against Mayor Brandon Johnson's budget proposal that would have devastated the local economy. Now, Alderman Waguespack is supporting Alderman Reilly's campaign to bring much-needed change to Cook County government.
This eyeroll of an endorsement aside, has anything Waguespack's done in the last decade scream "Progressive Leader"?
Alderman Scott Waguespack hasn't been a progressive leader in years- and this endorsement proves it
