We had a brilliant day, sharing stories, building connections and learning from one another. Real change is not driven by those in power, but by the people on the ground, people who serve their communities, empower and listen to people and those who stand up and challenge the status quo 🙌🏼

We stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone in our sphere who wants to empower our communities to make real change. We do this by educating, offering solidarity to local TU campaigns, listening and engaging with people through community groups and open days in our hub ✊🏼

Statements like this are of course positive and much needed. However, TU’s have been shouting about this for months. It is important that Local Authorities consult with those these issues affect the most, women, black, migrant and low paid workers.
