...I can imagine a lot of people just ignoring this opportunity if it's this complex and seemingly bizarre.

To the people who invent recycling rules:

I'm now able to recycle crisp packets and individual chocolate bar wrappers.

But not "share bags" of chocolate, uh uh. No way. Santa will put me on the naughty list if I do that.

Friday Squid Blogging: New Giant Squid Video

I have a USB drive for exactly that - this old laptop is the only device that has one and it's old in IT terms (16yo, that's basically stone age)

I was given a CD the other day with some data on it that I needed. I went to my computer and couldn't figure out where the CD went until I realized it had been years since I had a machine with an optical drive.

Oh haha sorry! I've actually used wsl once and it was OK (tho the goal was to use a me for Let's encrypt I think, and that didn't get off the ground unfortunately - something to do with DNS record timeouts cos didn't manage own DNS at time)

I've just put FreeBSD onto an old laptop I have, but it's painful because I haven't used *nix for so long 😂

I always install Linux
wsl --install
