Ha! Mission accomplished!

Today’s workout was 30% strength training and 70% dodging my cat, who apparently decided I was an enrichment activity. Nothing like trying to plank while a tiny assassin goes for the Achilles.

15 days of school left. I’m in the academic equivalent of mile 22: everything hurts, I’m limping, I’m bargaining with the universe… but I think I can make it if no one breathes near me.

With school almost over, I’ve entered my ‘build my own bookcases’ era. I have tools, enthusiasm, and absolutely no idea what I’m doing. Pray for me, pray for the wood, pray for the books.

Giving off queen vibes today. Dropped something in the parking lot and a man literally sprinted to pick it up for me. Came home and my cats held a full cuddle council in my bed. Honestly? I could get used to this royal treatment. 🤭

BREAKING NEWS: My Honeycrisp has produced one, ONE microscopic green nub. After a month of me hovering like an overprotective parent at a kindergarten drop-off, it has finally decided to participate in life. I can stop doing daily wellness checks now. Probably.

Woke up with a migraine so intense I briefly considered becoming a ghost. Pretty sure it’s punishment for staying up all night binging Big Mistakes. The irony is so loud it’s making the migraine worse.

They do, but most aren’t very helpful. Sometimes I feel I have to teach them about a concept that was only briefly alighted on in class.
And then the age gap, I was taught how to do things differently, so then figuring out how they were taught and relearning it myself so that I can help them. 😓

Supervising my kids with their homework while also doing my own homework, then looking things up for them and explaining it six different ways… it’s homework inside homework inside homework.
