Making the Strait of Hormuz safe for energy shipments would be a remarkable accomplishment, one that the world has never seen since the beginning of the month.

Tonight was actually a viking funeral for Warner Bros. when you really think about it.
Top 5 Spielberg and perhaps his deepest film.
Munich remains one of the most astonishing films made in the 21st century, confronting the human cost of seeking vengeance after suffering unredeemable bloodshed — and challenging us to contemplate whether there is such a thing as *redeemable* bloodshed.

Silhouette of Batman from Batman: The Animated Series
Were 90s kids clamoring for a Batman cartoon with 1930s Art Deco aesthetics? Is that what the market demanded? Or did some really smart creative people have a vision and make a genre-defining hit that sustained 20 years of TV shows? If you want success look for vision, not just metrics.

I see people saying, "What do we expect the Democrats to do? We don't have majorities in any of the three branches of government!"
But what I'm thinking is: Chuck Schumer's been a public servant since he was 24 years old. When, exactly, are we expecting him to get good at it?
Imagine if early in Obama's first term, in the face of a Democratic supermajority passing the Affordable Care Act, Republicans merely shrugged and said, "What do you want us to do? We're out of power!"
And then just waited for the next election.
