The 2017 DuckTales reboot crew wanted to do a big crossover episode between the Rescuers, Rescue Rangers, and the Great Mouse Detective, but this was shelved for two reasons, 1. RR was off limits due to the upcoming movie, and 2. The episode would have little to do with the main ducks.
