When I've taken road trips through Utah, I've enjoyed filling my tank with all-petroleum, no ethanol gasoline as a selectable pumping option. The car did get better mileage, but the increase in milage was less than the increase in cost.

Happy ½τ day to all who celebrate.
Looking forward to #JavaOne next week; I found this one-page view of the conference schedule helpful in planning what to see: dev.java/community/ja...

See on you on Tuesday, March 17, 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM PDT in Room 105.
Only saw a handful on them on recent visit to Pacific Grove :-(
A regular expression would be less confusing!
That is well outside of the usual sticker shock of the cost of gas in the bay area!
FYI, Sigonas in Redwood City has a selection of panettoni available around Christmas time.
... and beyond!
Not in IEEE 754, but there are various trans-infinite numbers in other numbers systems, culminating with surreal numbers.
The IEEE 754 floating-point arithmetic / kaiju cross-over movie we've all been waiting for _Godzilla Minus Zero_ (also stylized as "Godzilla -0.0") is slated for release in late 2026!

For those of us in the bay area, with one of the first rain storms of the season, a reminder to check the local storm drains to see if they are clear of debris blocking their flow.
I'm seeing lots of AI generated Java Dukes appearing with a mouth, feet, ears and more. Tip: when using AI, upload this “Duke Specification” image, prompt AI to follow as a reference. I think you'll find the resulting image is much better. Ex: "draw duke on a skateboard referencing this spec image"
Given prop 13, new funding for local bonds or similar?
(In my area, a larger portion of the water bill was transferred over to the property tax bill.)
Also at the time, the door sets came with both rounded-corner and square-cornered strike plates, matching whatever you might already have.
I ordered from www.baldwinhardwaredirect.com per-acquisition. At least at the time, you could order different finishes for each side. I used that feature to have a chrome finish inside the bathroom, matching the facets, etc., and brass outside.
One of those outlet wiring testers is a good tool to have in one's electrical toolbox; trust-but-verify all the existing work too.
Agreed; switching out the builder-grade door sets is a worthwhile upgrade. Too bad about the buyout.
Updating the switch plates of the outlets from the stock plastic ones is an easy cosmetic upgrade too.

"We're renaming Xfinity to XNaNity to serve you better."
Not currently. I'll post messages here once we start making public pushes of this work, branches in the Valhalla repo are a likely first destination.

Proposition 13 property taxes for those of us in California too.
That describes my feelings toward "Requiem for a Dream".
