What's needed is a low barrier to entry and, crucially, something of value.

Meta Quest was affordable enough for many. So many kids on it. But Meta Horizons and whatnot absolutely sucked.

There are some good things in VR, but they haven't been made by Meta.

Also, I hope you can come to appreciate yourself more over time. I'm on that journey and, while it's slow and unsteady progress, it's something. ❤️

Silver lining, at least it's a feeling? Ages ago, I was on a medication for months that made me feel nothing. Like, I was a zombie. I wasn't anxious anymore, sure, but I didn't feel anything anymore. It was terrible. I'm my hardist critic, it blows, but I'll take it over that feeling of nothingness.
