AOC talking to RFK Jr. Her facial and hand gesture has the spiritual energy of that Italian hand gesture where you pinch your fingers and wave your hand (the "ma che vuo" gesture).

Indeed. Complaints about redistricting are invalid. Republicans did it everywhere and invalidated a Constitutional Amendment so they could do it on explicitly racial lines.

There are two choices: use the same levers of power as Republicans do, or let them win. There is no "principled" opposition.

Agree, though I was shocked to meet an Afghan who was a Trump supporter. Not sure if he is still here.

That Katie Miller is now is very publicly and very visibly pushing the findings of Richard Lynn should be incredibly disturbing to anyone not seeking a whites-only future.

I don't know any other way to put it: this is really, really, *really* bad. /end rant

Most of you have probably seen @atrupar.com’s tweet of Benny Johnson saying Somalians have IQs of 70.

What’s more interesting (and troubling) to me however, is this reply by Stephen Miller’s wife Katie about Richard Lynn. Because *that* s**t deserves a deeper dive.

So let's do that. /1

I remember once I said “I am not buying one of those Alexa listening devices for my house so big tech can surveil my family” & my tech friend was like “listen you either have to keep up with technology or it will crush you” & I was struck that was now their marketing pitch.
House still dumb as rock

We are discarding the mandatory flu vaccine requirement, effective immediately.

General George Washington required Continental Army soldiers be inoculated for smallpox. We would not have won independence if he hadn’t.

You dumb chucklefuck.

Vote Blue No Matter Who: Party Politics As Political Agency Politics is a collective enterprise aimed at controlling the state, and requires working together as co-partisans.

"In America today we have a party of ordinary governance and a personality cult party. Those are the two options we are now offered every general election, and it really is that simple." www.liberalcurrents.com/vote-blue-no...

ICE detained more than 70 Minnesota children, data reveals Immigration officials detained more than 70 Minnesota children between Dec. 1 and March 10, a Sahan analysis of court records and federal deportation data shows.

70 Minnesota children.

Delta Air Lines, who likely flew nearly all of these kiddos out of MSP, could publicly condemn this and end the practice tomorrow, as the airlines did in 2018 with family separation, but it’s easier to stay silent.

The other way the court could avoid having memos leaked would be to meet and discuss cases rather than writing memos at all, but of course that wouldn't be pedantic and bitchy enough.

It will be important to prosecute Tim Cook for bribery, and it's achievable. Juries don't like gold bars.

Separately, Stephen - can you point me to your similar commentary on the pre-Dobbs leaks?

Not only is this piece poorly reasoned on the ethics, its conclusion is incoherent. A rule that says "an attorney-journalist violates the rules of professional conduct by participating in the leak of judicial memos" would not deter such leaks; attorneys just wouldn't be on the initial byline

the thing about our current moment is that yes, the anti-AI and anti-big tech people are getting very reactive nowadays - but have you seen what they’re *reacting* to?

like maybe the public would be getting less frothy and toothy about this if big tech hadn’t spent the last three years constantly threatening the public with impoverishment and feudal control, idk

Why is anyone surprised that Jewish soldiers in the Jewish supremacist army of the Jewish supremacist state would feel emboldened to do whatever he wants? He can shoot machine gun fire into a random house on camera. He can execute a Palestinian family in their car. Of course he can destroy a statue.

The thing about the photo of the IDF soldier beheading a statue of Jesus in south Lebanon is that the Israeli military has an effectively near 0% conviction rate for its soldiers and so this will just keep happening over and over and over and over. This is simply what unlimited impunity breeds.
