I don't think he'd do an Isak, he didn't when his potential move to Liverpool (his boyhood club) fell through. He's a decent lad.

Crystal Palace are not doing as instructed so far. Piss poor attitude tbh.

clubs with the biggest ambitions are ran.

This is why I feel their "ambitions" are nothing more than lip service and pure fantasy. Much like KSA are with most of their claims.

The board have done good in some areas, we've grown significantly since the takeover without a doubt, but everything is painfully slow and that isn't how the biggest

Once Barca got involved it wasn't going to happen but there were strong links to Joan Garcia and he looks very good.

Yeah, Pardew was a bit of a shambles in terms of his character. (Kind of) nutting Meyler was the last straw for me, that was humiliating.

Fonseca has always appealed to me but I always questioned why he's never got a PL job. He's been linked multiple times to PL clubs, us included, but never made the cut.

He's just another Elanga/Almiron type. No idea how he has the positive reputation he's got.

Might not have won anything and may have left in self motivated circumstances but a true club legend.

Love the man.

Considering the conditions both have worked under, Pardew was maybe par for the course. Howe is very much underperforming.

Likewise, for me it was the derby double. Absolutely inexcusable to lose to them twice. Pardew was largely good considering the conditions he was working under but he lost to the rats and it really matters.

It's shameful that they're newly promoted, beat us twice and will finish above us.

Yeah, it's an outstanding analogy.

1 day ago 1 0 0 0

Yeah, I agree.

Part of me still feels attached to the idea of Howe staying but I don't have any way of justifying that aside from pointing to his previous success.

Most of me wants a change in manager though.

For the record, I want Benjamin Netanyahu removed as a world leader.

Oh but wait, I can't name who would replace him.

Shit. I better support him and believe he's the best Israel and the world could do.

That's the rule. Can't name a replacement for someone? Can't want them gone. Sorry. #nufc

Or he's just wanked himself into a coma?

🤣🤣🤣

Remember where we were.

Might come from West Ham supporters though..

I am leaning towards Howe leaving but I do fear that we'd be looking for a new manager at a bad time to do so with no obvious candidate that won't be getting headhunted by a bigger club.

Why did you have to go and spoil it?

1 day ago 1 0 1 0

Yeah, exactly. The vast majority only make changes to their lives when it is beneficial to them as individuals rather than the continuation of our species (and our children's children etc).

This is extremely troubling but if govt's aren't showing much interest in it then the average Joe won't give a toss. It's not our generations that will likely have the biggest impact from it so most people just sweep it under the carpet like it isn't an issue.

Globe showing the Atlantic Ocean with arrows depicting the AMOC circulation: warm surface currents (pink/red) flowing northward from the tropics toward the Arctic, and cold deep return currents (blue/purple) flowing southward. The background shows sea surface temperature trends, with a prominent blue cold patch, the "cold blob", south of Greenland, contrasting with warming (orange/red) across the rest of the ocean.

1/ There's a system of ocean currents in the Atlantic that shapes Europe's #climate, drives monsoons, and keeps sea levels stable along the US coast.

In the last 5 years, the scientific evidence that it could collapse has shifted dramatically.

Most people have no idea. 🧵

Yeah, agreed.

He's obviously very good for the most part but I wouldn't put him in the same bracket as the elites of his era.

It's obviously an issue that he can't play with his feet very well but when you buy him, you know that you can at least account for it a bit.

However, for such a big keeper he isn't at all imposing when it comes to catching corners and crosses. That's the biggest issue for me.

And he's calamitous.

He's extremely over-hyped by the average football supporter.

Maybe they'll look to our successes against Tottenham this season and that will cancel it out.

Crystal Palace should do the right thing and roll over for West Ham tomorrow night, they're not going down or qualifying for Europe.
