Good luck. I’m doing the same down in Hertfordshire
Delayed on way out by ‘extraordinary circumstance’ by 2h 56m although most of the delay was lack of contingency planning/ slack. Now delayed on way back. There is a reason I try not to use #Easyjet utterly unreliable, even for the money. #despairing
Can we have more understanding on the years of cutting back social services that chips away at society resilience, leaving millions of people vulnerable. Keep blaming Covid but those cuts started decades ago. Investing in the social fabric is not a waste, it reduces costs later on. #PoliticsLive
I am sick and tired of adversarial politics - it’s getting in the / stopping those people in Westminster doing what they are paid to do - which is support their citizens… Lucy is just another example of the focus on power rather than people.
If we invest in the skill of leadership (and I don’t mean ‘entrepreneurial’ business ‘experts’) then maybe just maybe we might start learning how to deliver & we should insist that organisations are measured on their maintenance burden so that they don’t underinvest in building / people / tech.
Stunning

Well done George - absolutely spot on. Particularly on the constant propaganda
@michaelconroy.bsky.social thank you for bringing the right diagnosis to the issues faced by our youth. The decimation of the youth system through austerity has been utterly devastating and a bringing that back prescription for a lot that we want for our future. #PoliticsLive
In many cases internal relationships in organisations can be overly competitive and fractious… which frankly never makes sense. Why it’s important to have good relations (starting with Tech and Finance) and what to do about it. leaderly.co.uk/finance-and-...
Maybe I am going to quickly but on book 11 of Chronicles of St Mary’s & started 1st December. They are fun & engaging - really enjoying them. Only thing that slows me down is reading up all the history in the books. I’ve been to Troy, Agincourt, Crete, & The Tower @www.joditaylorbooks.com
