This thanksgiving I'm grateful for people who sign up for your newsletter and then turn on their vacation auto-responder
lol we should've talked about this last week. it's a facet of my exmormonism that I've forgotten to complain about
grievance #2: asana doesn't use query params to store your filter settings, so you can't bookmark a specific view without clicking "save view" which persists the settings for everyone. It also means navigating backwards loses your settings.
grievance #1: put my computer into sleep, then windows 11 decided to do an update and reboot, even though I had a bunch of apps open
kinda makes you want to get into poetry

Nice, that does look cool.
Maybe the pluggable algorithms are all you need. Each "subreddit" is a distinct ranking algorithm that you add to your account (or whatever the terminology is). It isn't personalized; everyone gets the same ranking. moderators probably use an out-of-band app which controls the algo.
I think I/the world would get more benefit from decentralized reddit/forums than decentralized twitter. I wonder if you could do a reddit-style thing over the at protocol. maybe each subreddit is a unique account, and you submit posts by mentioning that account? etc
My plan/dream is to eventually try hiring a handful of college students part time and have my own little R&D lab. Once I'm done with the whole having-a-mortgage thing...
I think I use this tidbit from Intro to Logic more regularly than anything that was discussed in my CS classes

noice, I got a cheap alto recorder a while ago as an instrument that I could hopefully play a little in between taking care of kids... (didn't really work but at least it was only 30 bucks)
I wonder if you can get a neck strap? I used a neck strap with clarinet to take pressure off my right hand
BURMA SHAVE

Diagram with large number: 2.7.123 First “2” is commented: Proud version. Bump when you are proud of the release Second “7” is commented: Default version. Just normal/okay releases Third “123” is commented: Shame version. Bump when fixing things too embarrassing to admit
I propose we replace semantic versioning with pride versioning
