If you want a better Los Angeles, join our movement! 🌞
Our volunteers are taking on the streets of Los Angeles, door by door, to listen to the issues our community is facing and sharing the ways Rae’s vision will change things.

Get in friends, we’re ditching traffic and riding to CicLAvia 🚌🚉🚲
Meet us outside of Good People Coffee on Santa Monica Blvd for a day rooted in art, community, and connection. We’re excited to imagine what Los Angeles could feel like when we center society around public transit.
Real safety means accountability, prevention and protection, and we're ready to address the LAPD’s lack thereof head on.
Our neighborhoods are starved for resources while paying for a protection racket for one of the biggest legal gangs in the world.
This is why we need @raeforla.com !

Welcome to our new segment: Where’s Rae in LA Today 📍🚌
City Hall doesn’t always see what daily life actually looks like, so every day, Rae will be somewhere in Los Angeles—listening, learning, and building relationships. Los Angeles doesn’t need another campaign that talks at people.
Our lives are interwoven, and it gives us a glimmer of hope for peace.
Together, we acknowledged that the fight for liberation is a united one. While we fight to end from occupation and surveillance across the world, we also fight for our own freedom from occupation and surveillance in our own communities.
It was moving to be with Angelenos who drove from all ends of the city to join together in solidarity to remember Palestinian, prisoners of war, of which hundreds are children. Some of us like myself spent time in the West Bank. Another recounted family members in Palestine.
No two days will look the same in “where’s Rae for LA today?” because every day, Rae will come meet you in YOUR neighborhoods to hear what you want to see your Mayor do for this city.

Red background with pink title: Your Campaign, Your City. Body underneath that reads: there’s a feeling many Angelenos share right now: decisions are being made far from the neighborhoods they affect, and the voices affected most are missing from the conversation. But Angelenos haven’t given up on this city; they still believe in the possibilities of Los Angeles being better for everyone. Los Angeles doesn’t need another campaign that talks at people. It needs leadership that shows up with them. That’s exactly what this is. Learn more at the bottom right corner.
Red background with pink text: Instead of asking you to come to a campaign event, Rae is coming to you. To your block. Your school. Your small business. Your place of worship. Your community gathering. Not for a speech. Not for a photo. But for real talk. Because the best ideas for the city aren’t behind closed doors – they’re out here, with Angelenos living it every day.
Come say hello at any of our stops today! 🌞👋🏽
Whether you pull up on the Metro or walk a neighborhood over, follow us in real time today!
On the schedule:

Come canvass & create content with us! Join us to knock doors, spend time with each other & get to know Rae!
Real safety means funding things like infrastructure, after-school programs, or sanitation, not hemorrhaging city money by giving the LAPD nearly half of our budget. Angelenos deserve to live in a city with services, not a standing army.
Mayor Karen Bass, who is releasing her budget proposal for the city of LA on Monday, is skipping the People's Budget presentation tonight, after attending for the last three years. Anyone who wants to catch the People's Budget presentation can watch it here: www.instagram.com/blmlosangele...

Knocking on people’s doors that I’ve never met. I was fully prepared to have doors shut on me. But to my surprise, people answered their doors. They were happy to have conversations about their problems with the city. They were excited to hear that there is a candidate that wants to make actual change. This made the experience so fulfilling. It made it addicting.”
Red background with a quote by Jeremiah, Rae for LA Canvasser with a picture of a group of canvassers. Quote with pink text that says, “I get to go out with other welcoming volunteers that share the same vision for LA. I get to have amazing conversations with people I’ve otherwise would have never met. I have brought family and friends to share this experience with. At first, they were nervous so I would have them just watch me as I knocked on doors and had conversations. Eventually, they wanted to go to every door. My advice to anyone who is nervous to canvas is to bring a buddy. You’ll have a great experience.”
Canvassing isn’t just important for our campaign, it’s a genuine way to meet your neighbors and build real community - and it’s more fun than you’d think. Just take it from Jeremiah, one of our volunteers! ⭐️
We know so many of us are living through difficult times right now.

Making Los Angeles more walkable and improving its public transit isn’t just good for commuters; it’s how we make this city more interconnected to feel like a community.
I talked with @hasanabirepeater.bsky.social on ICE Out day in January about it. Let's improve our livability, together. 📢
