Finally a sequel to The Revenant.

Enjoying the use of “band aid” in this skeet about trademarks.
Strange crustaceans lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
I think I still have the Marvel tie-in for this lol.
Hate so much when I hear it and then can’t find it. Sneaky cat!
This sounds fun. Gotta check it out. Thanks!
I am also wondering this.
I saw that same tour at legendary Madison venue O’Cayz Corral on September ‘88. A friend told me that his guitar instructor told him that Vernon Reid was a hell of a guitar player so I went. Amazing. How can O’Cayz have burned down 25 years ago? All my joints worked then!
I will have seated in soul forever the memory of an 80s trip to St Louis where people smoked in the grocery store including one lady who held the ash-laden cig in her mouth while she fondled the stone fruit with both hands.
Same. I bought way too much computer from Newegg last May on a lark and just pricing it out now make my eyes water. Kinda makes up for the 4MB of RAM I bought in 1988 that was astronomical.
and Long
I had an SE. Distinctly remember having to use a toenail clipper to cut a resistor off the logic board so I could upgrade to 4MB of RAM. (This was changed in subsequent revisions of the board.)
The town is Omelas.
You know truckin’ antiprotons east of the Rhine is bootleggin’.
No but that also means the stakes can’t be such that the heroes are chumps for not killing.
It’s probably the pinnacle of the Archie Goodwin / Klaus Janson backup feature “Manhunter” in Detective. Detective 441 is almost all reprints but Manhunter stands out. This was in the terrible newsprint days so one of the collections is probably the way to go.
Wild how my age and habits weave in and out while reading this list. Personally I will always have a soft spot for Detective 441 and the “Cathedral Perilous” story.
See a musky, post the Blood Hook trailer.
Obviously not the main attraction for most but it does my old Madisonian heart good to see my faves The Appliances in this astonishing week.
Silly Robin. Everybody knows London Bridge is in Arizona.

Astonishing example of the bookbinder's art: a copy of Moby Dick bound in white leather with gold embossed lettering. The whale's eye is an actual glass eye bulging from the cover and held in place by a slit patch of leather. It stares at the reader relentlessly. The cover around the eye is creased to give the suggestion of the whale's head. Unnerving. And delightful.
😂
Giant lizard ravages east coast!
I only learned it because I married a Brit.
Whole thing is just a bit too Golliwog.
Proud to have this cover in my collection of ephemera.
“Batman’s got a clam” to the tune of “Janie’s Got a Gun”.
