There is a discussion in the office about a forthcoming meeting with a guy called Douglas Cooper and I worry people will notice me muttering under my breath "...the producer, awesome super-duper trouper!" every time someone mentions his name

He's clearly having so much fun with it as well
Happy Birthday Mrs Q, I hope the family are spoiling you.
They'll be in De Beauvoir Town then
There's 500 pages to read so I'm saying nothing other than I'm interested to see what silver bullet they have for reducing build costs that the entire profit focussed construction industry has thus far overlooked
The Illuminati are entirely real, but have split into competing factions with no-one in overall control, which is why we are spinning though the cycle of Chaos, Confusion, Discord, Bureaucracy and International Relations with such abandon.
But how early do they all turn up at the train station, that's the real question...
This tracks as Graham Coxon sounds exactly like Kathy Burke doing Perry
I would simply be on time for my flight.
8/10 are cinnamon milk, 1/10 is just warm milk, and 1/10 is actual spicy chai. It is unfortunately a mug's game.
Ewidge Blumenkraft!
Why do you think cyclists should be exempt from criticism if they are riding dangerously?
The last couple of days I've seen a lot of political analysis on here that boils down to "If X party hadn't lost loads of support they would have more support".
STOP LEAVING THESE OPEN GOALS EVERYWHERE FFS
Based on last years trip to Tokyo and Kyoto, and widesperead use of Google Translate to read restaurant menus, there are A LOT of horsemeat restaurants in Japan.
Nina Simone would have been great in Twitter
I mean either he's as dumb as a bag of hammers, or he thinks his audience are. Or perhaps it's both.
Rather than a gonk I actually have a concrete core sample, a large bolt and an Ikea speaker on my desk - the Lego Milhouse figure that stood on my monitor got hidden in a drawer when a client came in and hasn't been reinstated.
* quietly slides lucky gonk into desk drawer *
I find if I can control one small (trivial, even) aspect of the chaos it makes the rest of it navigable
That's very much between you and the family Adrian
Then it's a necessity, I agree
Fair
All the lunch stuff is done in a dishwasher by the cleaner, to be fair, its always perfectly clean
I'm not sure how I, the guy with a private cutlery stash that I wash myself, gets to be the weirdo in this case.
I'm in five days a week - there is shared cutlery and crockery (mismatched) and microwave between about 40 people - most of those people work for the company we sub-let from. I just like specific cutlery (and I do tend to pick the same bowl every day if I can)
I don't have a personalised mug, if that makes any difference
It's not other humans beings that bother me, it's the random selection of mismatched ugly utensils in the cutlery drawer.
