illustration inspired by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman's 1891 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" depicting a woman touching sickly yellow torn wallpaper on a wall while shadowy hands reach toward her. There is another tall shadow of a figure on the wall and both figures look toward the viewer.

"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight."

I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version 🖤

I don't know why, but @denyscowan.bsky.social always makes Dick Grayson look cool behind the wheel. Whether it's Earth-0 or Earth-2. I hope he gets a long run on #Nightwing. His art style fits @danpgwatters.bsky.social's grounded tone. 👀

Just wrapped up the final script for IN YOUR SKIN. I don't know quite how to feel, but this is the first longform story – the first *book* – I have finished. There's a lot of work left – editing, responding to the art, writing backmatter etc., and of course the lettering – but this part is *done*.

Batman: Dark Patterns by Dan Watters & Hayden Sherman

This is a dang fine Batman comic. Four separate cases have something connecting them that Batman needs to uncover before it’s too late. Sherman’s art is fantastic, with notes of Nolan, Gulacy & Williams III but also distinctly his own style.

Creo que no exagero si digo que Batman: Patrones Oscuros, sendos tomos que han salido en España, de Dan Watters y Hayden Sherman, es perfectamente uno de los mejores cómics del personaje que se puedan recomendar, de los que crean afición.

Joder, es que es el thriller que siempre quise leer.

Man, I loved MASK as a kid. Even more than Transformers.
