Canelo, if you’re out there, please take Jake up on his challenge and do us all a favor and show him what a real world class boxer, who isn’t over the hill and riddled with CTE, can do to a pretender. Boxing was already a joke of a corrupt sport but the influencer circus is too much.

There’s no victory in a 27 year old “boxer” going the distance in a “fight” with a CTE riddled near 60 year old old man. This stuff is just absurd. Embarrassing.

Lame. I can’t wait for this fake influencer boxing to fade away. It’s such a ridiculous joke.

I’m conflicted about watching a near 60 year old CTE riddled Tyson fight a 27 year old circus sideshow influencer. Feels dirty. But damn do I want to see that 27 year old get knocked out. Even though I know it’s unfortunately not in the script.

I found it surprisingly versatile and still looked great and classy. And I own a high end refrigerator and freezer so could compare it to the higher end options. I’m surprised I haven’t seen it done in the US. It’s a great appliance hack.

Neither home was using higher end producer or commercial appliances. But it was just as effective as far as the interior design and versatility and convenience went for much less money.

And here is another Airbnb I stayed in which also did the same thing only they applied cabinetry facade to the refrigerators also. You can’t even tell where they are.

Here are 2 examples from Airbnbs I stayed in. The first simply used 2 cheap Samsung refrigerators positioned side by side and one set of doors reversed. They also installed two of the same dishwashers side by side. With cabinet facade added to the dishwashers but not fridges.

If I were remodeling a kitchen today I’d get freezers without ice makers and I’d get a dedicated under counter ice maker instead. They are more reliable than the ice makers built into refrigerator freezers.

Go with simple, reliable refrigerators without too many bells and whistles. Like I said, skip the ice/water dispenser. The more complex the more issues you’ll have. Especially ice makers. They are a notorious failure point in freezers today.

I was surprised at how well it works and seamless everything appears. Having owned professional single door fridge and single door freezer units (each 32” or so) which cost a ton… I found this hack to be pretty smart. And worked just as well as my expensive setup.

Just purchase models that don’t have ice/water dispensers. You can do this with refrigerators that have freezers below the refrigerator. Then you have two refrigerators and two freezers that appear to be a single unit.

The end result is a larger refrigerator setup without having to buy what is typically a more expensive consumer model or a commercial professional model. They’ll even have cabinetry applied to them so they blend in.

Think outside the box. What I have discovered when staying at Airbnbs in places like Iceland, Denmark, etc. is rather than buying a larger single refrigerator… people will buy two identical smaller refrigerators, place them side by side, and reverse the doors on one of them.

Absolutely wild to see the second busiest airport in Costa Rica and one of the top 10 busiest in Central America be closed like this due to rains and runway conditions. Won't open again until at least 8pn on Saturday. Crazy. #costarica #travel #airlines

For work when necessary on desktop for now. But I’ll keep it off my mobile devices and tablets.

I've been on Bluesky for over a year and a half now but have barely touched it. Watching it finally appear to get some traction is extremely encouraging. I hope it continues! It definitely gives me early Twitter vibes and I like it!

Depends on if your team all uses GitHub. If so GitHub Projects is an option. Takes time to learn the ins and outs. And helps to sign up for some of the features that are in beta.

If brands are going to do it they need to do the custom domain handles.

Domains for handles is the way. I’ve been saying Twitter should do that for years. Awesome to see @bsky.app implement it.
