Just remember that Security is like an Ogre. It’s cumbersome, no one wants to think about it, everyone assumes it lives in a swamp and that it will block you when you try to cross a bridge. Also, it has layers.

Congrats on the new gig! I’m still a few episodes behind on IM but I really appreciate the direction you all have taken it in since the rebranding.

And explaining to the sales person that their “14 day trial“ is going to be more like 45 days to actually get all integrations and testing scheduled and setup.

What a great idea. I’m betting you got a lot of “No way” and “How did that actually work?” reactions from them.

The best part is when some senior engineer says “Hey can you get this software for us, we need it for something we’re doing next week?” and you have to explain why buying this thing you’ve never heard of from a vendor you’ve never talked to has a less than 0% chance of happening.

That whole channel is a fever dream. And yes they have the flip version where Ozzy sings Country Roads.
