Thanks to the House Education Committee for moving my bill to establish the School Counseling Services Act, to get these professionals back doing what they're meant to be doing.
School counselors are the ones who put students on their pathway to success. They can't do that if they are constantly "filling the gaps" in the school day and not counseling.
I will continue to fight for the people I represent, just as I did this week to restore power at O'Hara Elementary. Thanks to Colin Dunlap for having me on KDKA radio to talk about this.
