OMG! I was at Zumbro as well! I tried the 50 miler and ended at 50K! Thank you for volunteering! It was an amazing crew of volunteers out there helping to keep everyone warm!

I trained hard for this one. The cards were not in line for me. I finished 34 miles out of the 50 I signed up for. Things sometimes don’t go as planned. I need to learn how to adjust better for the unexpected things. Next time… and there will be a next time!

Only immune in the States. Internationally, that’s another story.

It’s been a hot minute. Hitting the trails has been amazing lately, working on nutrition, pacing, and remembering to enjoy. DNF’d my last race, so signed up for a different one 🤣 We’ll see how well it goes. For now, views from the trails…

Had to cross a small creek today…what the hell! Took the shoes and socks off, dipped in the chilly water. The way back, got caught in mud up to my shins…lost a shoe, retrieved a shoe, made it back to change socks/shoes 😂 some beautiful horses along the way ❤️
