I'm trying for car free while Vic is doing free public transport and I think I've got everything nailed down except for it being significantly more annoying to go to the supermarket

I'm sure I've said this a dozen times on here but every time I see it it annoys me all over again
my melbourne urbanism hill that I will die on is that there is absolutely no good reason for Swanston st to be laid out like this just for some late night delivery trucks
It’s a hot wheels Tesla
new cursed object dropped
Ok but how do I find the obscure films
Waiting in a very long line to go see Sam Campbell and someone here is smoking the most rancid weed I've smelt in my life
There's an old Macedonian man who lives at the front of my building and no matter what time it is whenever I come and go he's outside having a cigarette. I got home at 3:45 Sunday morning and there he was. He asked me "did you go for a walk?"
I simply must insist that we do a new fad, this has got out of hand
gotta go my ride is here
Do coffee shops in the UK not just have a flat price for the size of coffee you're getting?
I mean unless anyone has a hookup for fresh San Marzanos
The tomato plant on my balcony was very clearly on its last legs so I made a pasta sauce out of what was left on it. It turned out SO GOOD and now I'm kinda annoyed that I can't have it again because that's it for fresh tomato season
Everyone who told me that my alcohol tolerance would drop off a cliff when I turned 30 was dead wrong. I got to 32.
you ever think about how weird it is that a major airline has the origin story of "a guy wanted to sell his friend's 52 minute long instrumental prog song so he started a record label"
why is the line for yochi this long is it 2014 again
Oooh you picked the one I have a discount code for! Danielle Walker it is!

Watching 90s music videos tends to make me go "can we have colour back" but that particular shade of green is...

A fun corporate logic thing is that that day in Whyalla was also the day the auditor was in town. Company also owned a shop in the food court of the mall that did not have power and the auditor went there mid-power cut and marked them down for not being open
(the only other two shifts I can compare to this one are the day I worked in Whyalla and a storm knocked out power to the part of the town with all the shops except my one, and the time I worked at a store by the beach when there was a rave going on across the road)
Maybe weeks of telling people to only buy what they need gets cancelled out by the brain genius move of cutting tax on the thing when there's supply issues
Since petrol started spiking I've had ~20% more sales each day - lotta people filling the tank because they're convinced rationing is coming any second. Today we passed on the excise cut and I have not been this run off my feet at this job in a long long time
So much of our hospital workforce is British and given you're earning almost twice as much here to do 2/3 the work who can blame them
Doing a work training module and it's helpfully gone into detail about how it's ok to reveal a secret someone told you if it saves their life. Looking forward to the "if everyone at school jumped off a cliff would you?" unit
Torn between "I need to be looking for a new job urgently because if world events get much worse I'm out of luck" and "well if that's the case there won't be any other jobs anyway"
what if I did some street photography and it was also a selfie
CGI should not have been allowed to progress past this
Have you considered how lucky you are to live in a world where you can just watch the video for Peter Gabriel's 1992 song Steam lately? youtube.com/watch?v=Qt87...
I upgraded lightroom and there are certain things it does better but gee it doesn't want me doing any micro-adjustments without letting AI have a crack first which fucking sucks
