I hear this advice a lot, and while it is definitely good, I struggle to find such programs. it's either i dunno if i fit in (eg i currently dont work rn), or im concerned about the ethics (eg 50501 being infilated by aipac apparently). I'm a college student in socal if that helps.
i like telling people irl that i'm into television archival. I digitize vhs recordings of tv broadcasts (I have tapes from the 80s up to the 2010s, I like finding the air dates for them). I also collect those old tvrips pirate groups/people used to release back in the day.
