If you (or your students) would benefit from a summer institute that features introductory courses in theoretical linguistics and analytic philosophy, consider YALP, taking place June 29 - July 10 in Yerevan, Armenia. Spread the word!

Joint work with @danielaltshuler.bsky.social on monosyndetic and bisyndetic conjunction in Gizey. I keep coming back to this reviewer’s comment: “Absolutely publishable as is… no suggestions for improvement (first time in 20+ years!)” 🤣🤣. It's here: journals.flvc.org/sal/article/...
Congratulations to Daniel Altshuler, Tutorial Fellow in Linguistics, who recently won the Linguistics Society of America (LSA) Mentoring Award. The award recognises the work of individuals or organisations that have exhibited a sustained commitment to mentoring linguists. 👏
Thanks to @lingsocam.bsky.social for the Mentoring Award. Teaching and learning from my mentees is the best part of my job. I owe it to them for this recognition. (Wish I could have made it to the LSA this year, but at home teaching and mentoring my newborn). Photo credit @colinphillips.bsky.social
