In doing this, so far ive been happier and feel safer. I feel that i have a network of people i can lean on and talk to as well as just be in the moment with.

It's been very helpful for me.

Dont get me wrong, i dont arbitrarily make the decision either, i put thought into whether its the right move. I dont like to lose relations at all, ive just got to protect myself and surround myself with people that do respect me and give the same energy i give

I think im at the point in my life where if ive explained my boundaries and needs more than a few times to someone and they keep ignoring or stepping over them; i just distance myself with no warning or explanation.

I just dont have the energy to keep telling people over and over.
I just move on.
