Silent Hill as a whole? No, not at all. Several prominent locations in Silent Hill? Absolutely. There's not many houses you go into, or places that are meant to be ends or starts. Lots of Motels/Hotels, Hospitals, etc. The emptiness in certain areas (Midwich Elementary!) make them feel more liminal.
