It's strange because it feels complicated but at the same time, it feels like it should be simple. Currently feeling dumb 😅

I'm learning #AndroidDev & the hardest part is the Gradle file. It just feels so overly complicated. I'm following the android basics course & all was working until the last section where it would just crash all the time. I copied and pasted the grade file from github and boom it works.. Frustrating

Started 2024 out with neovim. Spent a couple of days learning how to configure it. But now I have to actually write code and not just procrastinate 🙄😂

Typescript has been kicking my butt 😂 but when it's working, it's awesome! I understand now why people like it!

First experience of Typescript is trying to figure out the types of react navigation to get rid of the red squiggly lines! 😅 There's going to be a lot of these coming!

I'm thinking my next project is going to be a hotel booking app, using the Amadeus API. I'm hoping to include maps, hotel and location searches. Other vague ideas keep popping up too! It'll be a challenge but I'm hoping it'll also be a large step forward for me too!

I've decided I've learnt enough from my current app project. So I'm moving on to a new one. This time with Typescript. First time using it, so it'll be challenging.

Today! In fact, I'm putting it on in a minute to watch as it's a tradition for my fiancée and I to watch it on halloween!
