"Suspending the EU-Israel trade deal would require the backing of a large majority of member states, rather than unanimous agreement. That would mean Italy or Germany would most likely need to lift their opposition to such a move to approve the trade sanction."

A nation of slumlords.
Another cheery release from Ireland's Dept Of Housing on all the lovely new build homes coming onstream.
Leaves out the bit about how many new build homes in Cork City were sold on the open market in 2024.
2%. It was 2%.
So they might as well be telling ppl about new Faberge Eggs
I think it's more tempting now for disgruntled Councillors, as depending on location there is an opportunity at a Dáil seat. Last election they weren't really seen as a party but a loose Alliance of Independents. That's changed , they are now seen as the anti Government Conservative Party.
Happy Birthday John. Gave my turntable to my son 12 years ago. He hadn't heard of most of the bands in my record collection, so ended up judging albums by their covers!!!
Looking at the Census I had 3 Grand Aunts working in the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Mountjoy Square!
I would have thought that the digital cameras were cheap enough too.

A busy month ahead where I am doing a lot of exhibits... Just figured I'd show how I do a display panel!... should you be interested!
Delighted to speak with fellow LOI heads @gerrytastic.bsky.social and @macdarabueller.bsky.social and journalist @valerieflynn.bsky.social about League of Ireland history. Really cool piece up now.
Explosions reported in southern Lebanon as Israel blows up homes Despite the ceasefire, several Lebanese news outlets have reported that Israeli troops are blowing up homes in the border towns they continue to control. Israeli officials have openly said that they aim to destroy Lebanese towns to prevent residents from returning to them, replicating the tactic they used in Gaza, which rights groups have said amounts to ethnic cleansing.
As we all knew, Israel has never seen a ceasefire it was willing to keep.

The Israeli army struck civilians in the Lebanese city of Mayfadoun.
And then, the Israelis double-tapped the medics who arrived onto the scene.
And then, they triple-tapped the next wave of medics.
And then, they did it one more time for good measure.
We need to use a word other than settler for these people.
Open to suggestions.
Refusing to see the pattern from Gaza repeating in Lebanon is another failure of the international community.
Yes, Hezbollah should be disarmed.
But collective punishment is a war crime.
Great, will put together something this week for you.
Thanks
Yep. Wimbledon wanted to relocate to Dublin and we'd have had a Premier League team playing in Dublin. Every barstoolers wet dream. Luckily it didn't come to pass.

Hey Kaja you know what else is illegal under international law?
Genocide.
Yet you've constantly supported Israel carrying out genocide against Palestinians. Despite knowing it's happening.
Are EU navies going to go to Gaza to break the starvation of children there?
