I think it's more tempting now for disgruntled Councillors, as depending on location there is an opportunity at a Dáil seat. Last election they weren't really seen as a party but a loose Alliance of Independents. That's changed , they are now seen as the anti Government Conservative Party.

Israeli officials have openly said that they aim to destroy Lebanese towns to prevent residents from returning to them, replicating the tactic they used in Gaza, which rights groups have said amounts to ethnic cleansing.

And then, the Israelis double-tapped the medics who arrived onto the scene.

And then, they triple-tapped the next wave of medics.

And then, they did it one more time for good measure.

We need to use a word other than settler for these people.
