I am a big fan of the director, and I liked this film, but it’s still his worst. Blue Ruin and Green Room are top tier. Murder Party close second (truly incredible for a debut). Hold the Dark beats this because of the rivers of cop blood it bathes in. This felt like Saulniere for babies.
