Taxpayers didn’t ask for this. The military didn’t ask for this. Only Donald Trump did.

It takes away healthcare from 16M Americans, cuts food assistance by $300 billion, will drive up energy costs, and adds $2.5 trillion to the deficit.

All to pay for tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefit the wealthiest people and big corporate investors.

This is another distraction. Trump and Congressional Republicans do not want you focused on their terrible budget bill.

Every day we’re talking about it, it gets more unpopular.

To put things into context: the Trump administration has already fired 6,000 veterans from the federal government.

They’re set to fire 80,000 workers at the VA. This is part of indiscriminately firing over 100,000 public servants. But there’s plenty of money for this parade? Terrible.

Veterans are speaking out against this. Republican members of Congress are speaking out against this. The focus should be on veterans, but this is about him. This is his parade for himself.

Trump said that those who want to protest will be “met with a very heavy force.” This is a democracy. Not an authoritarian regime where he gets to use the military to go over American citizens.

This is terrible for the city of DC. There is $16M of taxpayer dollars set aside just to repair the damage that the military vehicles are going to do to the streets.

He should work with Congress to pass bipartisan immigration reform, stop the sweeping tariffs, and back our allies.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia: When you don’t follow our Constitution or our Supreme Court, people are rightfully angry and scared.

Russia and Ukraine: We know what happens when you appease dictators. His fixation with Putin puts our national security and our citizens at risk.

Immigration: Trump hasn’t done anything to actually fix the border— he’s removing people with no process, arresting judges, and deporting toddlers. Awful.
