Back in the gym.
Let's hope it sticks this time.
Owl shaped glass jar and lots of slips of white paper with book titles written on them. Ready to be folded up and placed in the jar so that I can pick a book at random (or by the will of Athena)... who knows.
Making a reading jar π₯°
In honour of Athena.
Owl shaped glass jar symbolic of knowledge, wisdom, and learning as well as Athena herself.
All my books I have to hand are on slips of paper ready to be placed in the jar so that I can pick a book at random (or by the will of Athena)... who knows.
It should give an intentional start to the day, but also an accurate record without all the scribbling out and rewriting people end up doing every time they deviate from the plan. So here's my first day in progress. Added some stickers because if you're gonna do something, why not make it cute π₯°
So I think I'm going to do away with the expensive planner and just use a regular notebook. Use a two page spread per day. Also means I won't waste half the book if I miss days. On the first page I'll time block my intentions for the day. But on the second page I'll log my actual activities.
I used a planner to do interstitial journaling. Thought I was just failing at timeblocking, but turns out it's a whole different system I was using. Timeblocking is planning ahead. Interstitial is basically Captain's Log style where you record activities as they happen.
Changing my planner situation this year.

Wasn't particularly a fan. Some really good bits but also some really annoying bits. Felt like I needed a glossary for the ridiculous unexplained made-up terminology in the more sci-fi/supernatural parts.

If anyone knows of a book that dumbs down this subject and actually makes it understandable for the mathematically challenged, I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions π

I'm not giving this a star rating because it would be zero. Not because it's a bad book but because I detest maths.

Excellent book. It would be five stars if it weren't for the number of typos π
