Einstein in a library with his quote:
"The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library."
Libraries offer free access to books, internet, classes, and community space. All of this is funded by the public, for the public. They preserve knowledge, spark curiosity, and serve everyone equally, from toddlers to seniors. No subscription required. Just show up. Tax dollars well spent!

This really bothers me. How the rich get richer and the working poor struggle how to keep their heads above water. How much could the 13.7B help?

Tesla saved $400 million on its federal taxes by shifting billions of its U.S. profits to countries with lower tax rates.
Yes: While you paid your taxes in full, giant corporations maneuvered to pay as little as possible β and itβs all perfectly legal for them.
The system is rigged.

I seldom use it now but love the taste.
Iβll try some hash tonight.
I was using 5mg gummies at one point, but after mushroom experiences, the desire to change my state of mind left me.

The idea that the super rich shouldn't have to pay taxes because the system they have fiddled has made taxes for them optional, is poison.
They should have to pay more tax than anyone else.
The rate for billionaires should be 99.9%.
Not zero.

The same applies to Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala, Harris, Barack Obama, Andrea Ocasio-Cortez, Gavin Newsom, Rachel Maddow, Ari Melber, Mark Hamil, the pope.
Listen. Seek to understand.
Good people arenβt always right.
But they offer insight.

Richard Wolf is an example of a person who is very well-meaning & very easy to disagree with.
Heβs intelligent. He knows history extremely well. And he has an extremely strong bias and I think oversimplification.
But that doesnβt mean I canβt learn from him. Itβs my job to understand his argument.

Recognize their human bias. Watch the experts, the journalism, not the chatter.
Expand the list. Mother Jones will always be very socialist, but also will always have a very high journalistic standard.
University professors.
Judge public figures based on their intention.
It is OK to disagree.

Do and Donβt to find reliable sources.
Donβt ever allow any media to tell you what to watch. No feeds from YouTube, MSN, Bluesky, anybody.
Recognize when experts have experience and sources.
Find a variety of well established sources.
Examples: DW, France 24, MS NOW, Al Jazeera, BBC, Guardian

Numbers. If I go to a protest, I have free speech. If you and I go to a protest, we have free speech. If a group organizes a protest, they have free speech.
That is how they are comparable.
How do you separate out an entity that has no interest in goodwill or good outcome?

What Happens When Animals See a Mirror? | Australia
YouTube video by Epic Aussie Encounters
Humans have animal nature.
Notice they create conclusions based on perception and experience.
Humans are more aware of past and future and desire to change outcomes.
Human fear and insecurity leads to greed and brutality (or suicide) at its worst.

A simple thought I have is that only United States parties and unions have this free speech. But we extend our free speech to non-citizens in the United States.
CU didnβt categorize corporations as having the speech, but any group of people.
How do we isolate that in law or amendment?

Itβs an overwhelming problem. Free speech in the United States. Constitution is very absolute. You inspire me to study Germany and other places that allow individuals to have free speech up to a limit. Iβll study if they have a limit on non-human free speech.
Does a union or party have free speech?

What you know intellectually in isolation may not save you.
Working with others you care about and who you care about you, you may find a plan you can stick to.
Practice connecting.

Under Citizens United, we can cap the amount contributed to individuals. I think those caps should be to an amount that more of the population could afford to pay. Maybe 2000 to an individual within a given year.
To limit speech on topics would take a constitutional amendment or reversal.
