My uncle Kenneth Dula Jr. was shot in Vietnam behind the enemy line (during one of two tours ), received the distinguished "Purple Heart" after being wounded in battle and was a part of the infamous Big Red 1. 47 years later, he still has bullet shrapnel lodged in his body. #veteransday #drawing
